OTDR
An OTDR, or Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer, is an optoelectronic instrument used to characterize and troubleshoot optical fiber cables. It works by sending light pulses into the fiber and analyzing the backscattered and reflected light to determine fiber length, identify events like splices and connectors, and measure signal loss.
